Sylvarie Jenday Conure
people keep asking me if i will breed Sylvarie, because he is highly socialized will go to practically anyone. and does not scream much at all. to me breeding looks to be a huge step and i may not be ready for that, as i am still in college for the next couple of years. any suggestions?

Yep, keep enjoying Sylvarie until you are out of college, are settled in a career, have some financial stability, have your own home...AND...the space & time to devote to a breeding facility.....even if it is only one pair of birds.....then there is the consideration that you will also need to be sure that any partner and/or significant other is supportive of the birds & furthering of the species project.....

Based on personal experience, I'm thinking at least 5-8 years before you give that venture serious consideration.....

Just my two cents.....

Another thing to think about is breeding can make a bird mean as they have a partner. Breeding nice birds together doesn't mean you get nice babies!!!!! Its all about how the babies were raised and trained.
