A sun conure, budgie. Miss my cockatiel Sam. See you someday I hope Sam! And my little girl Sky a budgie that passed away in 2007 Thunder my budgie passed away too last September. Miss you little budd
My picky Sun conure Sunny doesn't want to eat any veggies unless it is corn. I tried my garden grown romaine lettuce, broccoli, garden carrots, wax beans, green beans, and peas. I tried eating them in front of him and offering it at the same time. Silly bird! lol He turns his nose up at anything other than sweet corn.

I would rather he eat the veggies that I grow from my garden organically then some frozen mix veggies from the grocery store. Oh well, I guess corn is something. He won't eat the whole corn just sucks out the inside of each kernel silly bird~

As for fruit, he loves seedless green grapes, bananas (somewhat), apples, but especially juicy sweet plump blueberries!

What have you tried to feed your bird and they've turned their nose up at?

Poppet. A Quaker.
My Quaker turned his nose up at fresh veg so I steamed it, allowed it to cool and then he munched it down like it was his last supper.

Hmmm. I wonder... maybe if I cooked the carrots, maybe with some other veggies he would like it.

I steam all his veg or else he won't touch them. I only steam for a few minutes as I'm trying to keep as many vitamins in them as possible. I tried him again tonight with raw broccoli and he wasn't interested so it might be worth you trying it. :)

Pineapple green cheek conure
My bird likes small grinded carrots. She eats them all. Loves blueberries and strawberries. So far that I have found out. I keep trying to find new things for her.

I chop everything on the days I have more time, and they seem to eat more of that
the days I don't have much time... everything is raw, and they pick out what they like or need in their diet for that day

every veggie you can think of, various beans, some fruits(but not much)leafy greens and they INHALE brown cooked rice.
everybody's favourite is brown cooked rice, corn, peas, peppers, and all the plates are totally cleaned!

You might try making a mash/chop.... combine a variety of veggies, some fruits, maybe even some cooked/sprouted grains and *healthy* legumes. Include things he likes and new things.

You can always try fresh or steamed, diced, sliced, chopped, chunky, julienne, etc. Try offering foods in a variety of ways. Weaved through the cage bars, hanging like a toy, as a foraging item, on a kebab, etc.

I already tried everything listed. I even tried brown cooked rice, no go. He does however like elbow macaroni, so I bought him the veggie elbows. You know the kind that is made of carrots, spinach, and peas or something like that :) He does like spaghetti noodles so I buy the organic ones or veggie ones. What kind of beans? Are blackberries ok or not?
