Green cheek conure
I'm ready to purchase my bird baby but I'm stuck on 3 different birds. 1 is a high red yellow side GCC that has been hand raised in a home with lots of other birds and babies. It is supposedly sweet and least nippy of that type. I've been sent pictures of this one sitting on a finger.
Another is a Crimson Bellied conure that was hatched in Sept. it is supposedly sweet and has been hand raised in a home with not many other birds. (very small hobby breeder).
The last is a Sun baby that is raised in a home with other types of parrots that breed too. This breeder says he is sweet and cuddly and sent a picture of it on his cage and also sitting getting petted up by her face.
My husband is not as concerned about noise as I initially was because we do have a noisy household anyway. I want a cuddly, affectionate bird that will love being held and hanging around its family whenever possible. I want it to be ok with family members including kids holding it (under supervision of course) even if its bonded to one particular person more so in the home.
Can anyone give me advice on what bird to choose?

All birds are individuals, so its important to spend time with your suitors before you decide if they're right for you - but with that said, they can act very differently once you bring them home. I like to go by the bird-choosing-you method, if possible!
I don't have experience with suns or crimson bellies, but my green cheek is extremely affectionate, always wants to be with me and involved with what I'm doing, etc. He rarely nips, and if he does, its for an identifiable reason (someone doing something he doesn't like, etc). He's great with kids of all ages as long as they're well behaved and know how to properly handle an animal. He's interacted out of the cage with kids ranging from 3-11, and teenagers from 16-18, adults from 22-57 and has done fantastic with everyone, but he is bonded to me most of all and would rather visit other people briefly and return to me. Not all green cheeks are like him, but I always recommend green cheeks if they're considered as an option for someone~
I had considered a sun, but after looking up their screeches on Youtube, I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it. Peeko does scream - in the mornings if I'm not awake by the time he is - but its tolerable, for the most part. I'm used to it to the point now where it doesn't wake me up anymore.
Whichever choice you make, have fun with your new baby! <3
