He's coming around :)
When we first got him he wanted nothing to do with people and would rather be in his cage even with the door open.
But within a few weeks, Skittles had settled right in, we're best friends he loves being pet and loves to give kisses and always wants to be with you ^_^
At night when he's trying to get your attention he makes kissy noises, laughs, try's to imitate the dogs barking, he's such a chatter box!

Umm, are you SURE you're talking about YOUR 'Skittles'. Cause it sounds an awful lot like mine. LOL. Although mine does make kissy noises (even on command) he doesn't imitate dogs cause i don't have any. LOL. But he does imitate the 'squeaking' noises of cleaning which is soo funny and he wags his tongue whenever water is running or liquid is being poured. They are such clowns!

Does your Skittles like armpit rubs? Mine does. Sometimes he even lifts his wing and presses his wingpit against my ear. When he does this I can feel his heart beating. It's so sweet.

Yes, I agree. Keep up the good work! They can be a handful at times, but IMO, the high maintenance is soo worth the reward.

Just don't let him see the reward or he might try to take it away from you. ;)

Lol xD he's already shown his 'today is not the day' colors, I should've listened and left him be but instead I left with a bloody finger *ouch!*
But he flew over a few minutes later to cuddle under my chin, and give me kisses, I guess his way of saying "sorry mommy."
He's recently taken to chuckling ominously when i come into the kitchen at night (scared the crap out of me the first time he did) lol
He's a funny little bird
Sometimes when we're playing he randomly bobs his head up and down really fast it doesn't seem aggressive, I think that's how he's expressing his excitement :3
Does your Skittles randomly ever start dancing? xD I think that's also something he does out of happiness.

It sounds like his personality is really starting to blossom! Good job sticking with it, it will really pay off in the end.
