trying to tame

hello im 14 and i have 2 young sunconures and want to tame them because i have kept them with their parents until i felt they could eat by themselves does anybody have tactics i can use? im planning on buying a small stand for them to hangout on while in my room and once they are comfortable maybe try to hand them a seed?

I'll leave the advice to someone who is more experienced with breeding birds - but just wanted to congratulate you on your two new babies!

It sounds like you have a good plan. Just go slow and see what they are comfortable with, and then go from there.
How old are they? We would love pics

They are young enough that taming them should be easy.
A stand is great, let them hang out with you and talk sweet to them a lot.
Eye contact is important.
I put the back of my hand up to bird that likes to bite, they have nothing to grab on to with their beak, but I would be surprised if these babies go for a bite unless they are really scared.
Don't jump if they act aggressive, be calm all the time, and back off if they get that way.
Figure out the food they really like and use that to gain trust and interact with them.
Patience.
Read about finger training them, there are excellent youtube videos on that, though my Bourkes isn't really finger trained she does get on my finger for a bit.
She's very independent and hard headed.

I just had to give my female Bourkes parakeet a small piece of spray millet.
At first, she would freak whenever I was near her when she is eating, now she sometimes stretches when she sees me and them goes down to eat.
These days when she wants some bird snacks she goes all the way to the bottom of the cage and gets near the door.
She has me rather well trained, it seems.
