Birthday Present and Bat Bird

My birthday was Monday and since I got Loki everyone didn't fit right in my room. So I wanted a new cage for my birthday...my uncle decided that was a great idea




Loki is in the top one.


The bottom one is the girls. My cockatiels Ryner and Rin.


I don't know why but I really like the stacked cages even though the bottom ones aren't up high. So far I haven't noticed any negative reactions in my boys who are in the bottom level of my other stacked cage. I'm not sure I would recommend this one to others because of certain issues with missing pieces and holes that needed to be filed but its functional and I like the top playgym for the cockatiels.

And now Bat Bird! She hates forced baths in the shower but loves the spray bottle





I know she isn't a conure but for anyone who remembers Ivory from other posts she is doing so much better since we got her months ago now...feels like she's been here years. She no longer twists the feathers under her wings and it is nice and soft instead of knotted. She has decided fresh foods aren't evil. And that we are also allowed to leave without her thinking we are never coming back. Also, independent time on the cage isn't such a bad thing anymore and occasionally we can leave the room now without her following us in a panic.

Thanks your sun looks gorgeous in your profile pic! I'm actually liking the cage a bit more now since the cockatiels stayed on top the whole time they were out. I'll have to put the hanging playgym over top. The thing has been siting on my floor for over a year since I couldn't find anywhere to put it that wasn't in the way.
