Twice so far I've found olivers pellet bowl inside of his water bowl, completely filled with water. The bowls are right next to each other but I can't help but think he purposefully does this just to wet all the pellets at once... If that's the case it's pretty smart! But it means I have to replace the pellets much more often hahaha

These are the bowls I have, the pellet bowl is smaller than the water bowl:

I originally got these because the other types of bowls like this:

would get pushed onto the ground, plus the plastic was hard to clean well, looks like Oliver finally figured out how to make more mess

Try a smart crock. They come in a few sizes between 5oz and 20oz or maybe even larger (not that you need anything that large for a GCC).

Petco or petsmart type places should have them.

or something like this.

Only my BFA and my late BCC caused havoc with the stainless steel type of bowl you show, but my conures and senegals use them and have never even tried to mess with them. The Amazon has to have a smart crocks for all of his food and the BCC used the second one I linked to and some things could go in a heavy clay crock on the bottom of the cage.

I also use water bottles and have for almost 20 years w/o issue.

Thanks megapixel! One thing I definitely need is water bottles, I hate how they put food in their water and then drink it. Even if I change it every day or twice a day they'd still be drinking water with pellets in it at some point -.-
