Hi, everyone! We've been loving Chromie's silly self (he's 12 weeks old today). He began about half a week ago making these odd, almost gurgle-y sounding noises. It's usually when we first take him out or if he's on one of us, especially me. I would like to believe he's super happy, but I've never heard a bird make noises like this before! The first time, I was worried he was trying to throw up. :| I took a little video to capture his sounds this evening, so you can know what I'm talking about (he makes it at about 18 seconds).
So is he happy, or are we doing something wrong? I just want to make sure that if it's not a joyous noise, we isolate why it's happening and fix it! If he's happy, well...gurgle on!
