Hi everyone, how are ye all this fine Saturday,

I will have Rio two week on Sunday only coming up to three months old he was on CeDe Parrot egg food. As a recommendation I got a small bag of Harrison's Pellet High Potency Fine food. I have the food and the last couple of days I Started to give it to him mixing it and handing it to him when I mix with the the egg food he goes for the egg food then the pellets. I would him to have stable diet on pellets as he is getting older. Do any of ye have tricks to transfer Rio to different food I even to taste it showing him I eat it but no joy yet. I know this could take time.

Thanks in Advance. :)

You might try moistening the pellets with organic fruit juice or water or just crushing the pellets up even smaller and trying that?

I guess I got lucky :20:... I've used Harrison's with 8 different parrots of different species before (including Budgies), and EVERYONE just took right to and loved it right off the bat!

I've heard many times that is not the case though.:52:

Putting the fruit juice on it, crushing it and mixing with other favorite foods, baking it into birdie bread, are all things I've heard of people doing. Or any other creative ideas you can possibly think of. Good luck!

Mine transferred fairly easily. I suppose you could try eating some in front of him.

You could grind the pellets into a powder and mix it in the egg food.
