Alright so I made a post in the macaw section about either getting a noble macaw or blue crown conure. I know the thread was pointing to the mini and I was starting to prefer it but I found one breeder that may not even have babies this year. But I found a blue crown baby from the same breeder I got kyro from! It's starting to look like I'm getting a conure instead of mini macaw lol I think I'm gonna put a deposit down for the next clutch. They have two available babies right now but I'm gonna be moving and all that hassle so I think it's better I hold off till next clutch. Which who knows! Could be end of summer or next spring but either way:) O and not to mention the price for him is only $265 so there's a nice touch lol

So I guess my question is how the deposit works?? When I bought kyro I paid in full right there. She told me the deposit would be $100 so would I just pay the other $165 when I go pick up the baby??

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Yep. The $100.00 is a deposit on the egg. If it hatches, what is inside it is reserved for you. If you decide you don't want that particular bird, they usually will hold the deposit for another egg...
