Cinnamon Green Cheeked Conure (Charlie, born 17/03/2014) & Pineapple Green Cheeked Conure (Tango, born 29/05/2014)
Charlie my GCC is 12 weeks old and hand tame. The last couple of times I've had him out (he comes out every afternoon) he has sat on my finger bolt upright then looks like he's head banging whilst yawning. Charlie has been with me 2 weeks and has never done this before, I was just wondering if anyone know what this behaviour is..

My GCC does the yawning thing when I rub his head and neck. With horses it's a sign of "release"..you've just hit a trigger spot that is very comfortable to them. Not sure if it's the same with birds. I would like to also know the reason for the yawning.
