Well, as stated in your other thread you've only had her for ONE DAY. She's in a completely new environment, with new people, most likely a new cage, and she's a baby.... I think you need to not expect so much from her so soon....give her some time to adjust to her new home/surroundings, offer her treats as a reward for doing what you ask, and be patient- she'll come around eventually. Plus, babies are generally pretty beaky until you've successfully taught them what is acceptable bite pressure...

Oh, you had a whole day of honeymoon period? Lol your lucky! I had about 4 hours, then all he'll broke loose. Things will smooth out in time as stated above. Any sort of move (even for the better) is extremely shocking to ANY bird. They usually act once right at the beginning, because they are scared for their lives. Once they realize you're not going to kill them, then boundary issue time ensues. Trust me, This will smooth out, just hang in there :)

She/he probably won't stop! Conures are nippers by nature! don't be surprised if she nips at you. My conure still nips at me, but thankfully the amount of bite force has changed. He (DNA Tested) now knows how hard is too hard, and how much of a nip is ok.

It takes time, and a lot of OUCH that you need to say to your bird. I tell my bird "Gentle" softly when the bite is getting to hard. He listens now, and will not go past the bite force he has already applied.

They learn with their beaks! It will be that way for a while! If this is your first day with your bird, take heart! It will get better. :p

Also, another thing that might help. Let them be in their cage for about 48 hours without any touching from you. It lets them get to know their surroundings.

Defiantly talk to your bird while he/she is in the cage for this period of time! :p talk to the bird a whole lot! Remember, your bird is going to test it's limits now! So good luck!
