Flight Cage question

I've been searching and searching for cage that's affordable and well there just isn't much out there under 200 and is the right size for our yellow cheek. I discovered the flight cages but i am wondering if there is a grill on the bottom or is it just plain open for the bird to walk in the muck. I prefer a cage bottom grill thing to keep the bird from the very bottom if possible.

Can you post a link of the flight cage you found?
I have several flight cages and they all have grates.
This is one that I have:

Yes, all my cages have a tray and a grille. I have a long flight cage and it's the same as all the smaller cages. All my patio cages have grilles ad trays as well.

I've just done away with the grill on my flight cage and it has made maintenance so much easier. Luckily my bird NEVER goes to the bottom of his cage, so I don't have to worry.

But not having to wash and dry the grate every time has made a huge difference,

Yep, that is the same cage:)
My finches throw stuff everywhere, but I am sure that a conure won't be as bad as they are. My CBC is in a cage something like these and it isn't an issue with him. I would definitely lock the doors somehow, and definitely the nest box doors as well since they just push open.

I got the step up from Terry's [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hendryx-F050-Products-Hammertone/dp/B0002AQ228/ref=sr_sp-atf_title_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406911895&sr=8-1&keywords=prevue+f050"]Amazon.com : Prevue Hendryx F050 Pet Products Wrought Iron Flight Cage, X-Large, Hammertone Black : Prevue Bird Cages : Pet Supplies[/ame] and it's still under $200 and if you're an Amazon Prime member it shows up in 2 days. It has a grate. I'm a big believer in grates as I don't ever want my birds getting into the stuff on the bottom.

I will warn it's a PITA to put together and you'll probably have to bend some bars back into shape, but I think it's a pretty good value for the money. I'm happy with mine.

Karen's cage is better since it is larger. When I bought mine those ere out of stock and I was in a hurry to get them, but kind of wish I had waited. I did not even think of that one, thanks Karen:)

I think they are both good, bit for the little extra I think it's worth getting the extra space.

how is the quality and assembly on these. i read through some of Amazons reviews and some had issues. Can't beat the price on a big cage at least and the bar spacing. Man the spacing is tough to find. 3/4 is the norm and anything less is scattered at best to find at an affordable price. i'll take my chances with this one and hope for the best.

We had to bend a few of the bars on ours, and the directions are almost useless but they are totally worth the money.

It is big enough... Yet small enough to move (weekly, I take it in the bath tub and scrub it clean) It also is very attractive.

I use flight cages for my smaller fids. We have a green cheek conure in one and a blue quaker in another. I had a prevue cage that I returned because it wasn't made to my expectations. Look at King's Cages. They have a flight cage that is priced competitively and seems like it's easier to clean (the poop doesn't stick as much to the cage as other brands). The King's flight cage is well worth the money!!! We have 3 flight cages and the King's cage one is by far the best quality for the money! And tons of room!!!
