I know Lilo has always stepped up and kisses me and cuddles but she never let me hold her on my hand like most people do. Conures are really cuddly birds and like to be held but Lilo never did. She just didn't trust me that much. But I guess now she does and she likes being held in my hand! So if she is just sitting somewhere I can go and put my hand around her and pick her up! Even turn her on her back! Witch she would NEVER let me do before! 
The parrot shops would say oh she won't ever trust you like that, most birds don't..... I guess she had a change in heart! It did take her 2 years!
