Advice on Separating

I was recently (about 2 weeks ago) given 3 Sun Conures. They are beautiful little birds. I was told there are two males and one female but I am not sure one way or the other.
I am told they are about 2 years old and two of them have not been hand raised or really touched all that much.
My question is should I separate them? I have two of them that will now eat from my hand but that is about it. I am trying to just take it slow and not scare them or make them afraid.
Do you think if I re-home one or two of them the one/ones I keep would mourn the others?

Would it be easier to tame one than three? I would like to to what is best for all of us I am just not sure what that is.

Thank you for any insight to this as you can tell I am a first time Conure owner.

Several years ago I rehomed 4 sun siblings from 2 succeeding clutches, 18 and 24 months apart.....they had been caged together and never handled, so were essentially wild when I picked them up.

It took me almost two years to get all four to perch on my hand without biting and, yes, I had to separate them (each had its own cage), both cage wise and for training.....when working with them, I( had to take them one on one to another room, a room they were not familiar with, so that I was the only known factor in the room.....I was lucky that I could pretty much isolate the bird noise/sibling calls to the training room, otherwise, the bird in training heard & responded to its siblings...until I figured that out, each session was like taking 2 steps forward and a step backwards.....training your gang of three is going to be interesting and challenging....

Good luck.....

Oh, hope you don't shy away from a little blood...I can see some possible blood letting in your future.....
