Lookin for a new friend!
I got Alice one of the hanging soft fuzzy beds today (the ones that looks like a tent)! and SHE LOVES IT!!!! when going in for the night she didnt scream at all and she went right to he little sleepy hole! one bad habit down!;):orange: It makes me happy to see her happy!!!

Just make sure you remove it as she matures. They can cause aggressive behaviour and chronic egg laying. They also have toxins ( I have heard this off a fellow breeder) in the fuzz part.

Great to hear.

I have to disagree with Ratzy though. Auggie has had a happy hut his whole life. They do not encourage egg laying.

On occasion birds can 'mate' with their hut and they may defend it if you try to reach in there while they're there but this is easily avoided by not reaching in there!

And as for the toxins - I suppose it depends who made the hut, but all the commercially available ones that I've seen in the US would not have toxins. There may be concern if the material starts to fray - a bird can get tangled in the loose threads, so keep an eye out for this. But 'toxins' ... no.
