Hey guys! Just wondering if I've made my bird a bit of a lazy bones. All she wants to do is cuddle and take naps in my shirts! Lol I try to get her to play with toys or run around the house but she prefers to just eat and sleep. Are any of your birds like this??? How do I get her to be more active? Thanks!! :)

I guess I am more worried about her lack of enthusiasm when I'm away from her. She doesn't pay attention to toys without prompting. When she is alone she just sulks in the cage and waits for is to get home to cuddle with her. I've tried many different kinds of toys to try and spark her interest but still no luck. Any thoughts?

Unlike other four legged and two legged kids, many birds have to be shown how to play with toys because they are either not previously introduced to them or have no feathered role models to emulate, so you may have to revert back to your childhood and show her how to entertain herself.....don't forget the enthusiasm & lots of happy sounds..though I'm not sure I'd try flying around, from toy to toy.....
