Can parrots, especially the Sun Conures really tolerate spicy and capsaicin full foods like I hear rumors of? Can I really give my conure a Habanero pepper and he won't mind and will enjoy it or is it more like a jalapeno with a little teeny bite?
I like hot food - my family likes hot food - I just want to know - is it really ok for my little Nibbler?

Yes, it's almost like candy to parrots, not affecting them like it does we humans, but be careful not to do any bird beak kissing after feeding them some...it does transfer ! ! !

Yep! The chemical that makes it spicy to us can't be tasted by birds!

That's why chillies are hot - they want birds to eat them and spread their seeds, not useless mammals!

Frootie loves birds eye chillis - the seeds are the best part apparently
