Sleeping habits of gcc.

--PUMPKIN - male YS GCC. Hatched Halloween Day 2014. Came home Jan. 4, 2015. Started talking in July '15!
-BUTTERNUT- female TYS GCC Hatched in late Jan. 2016 and came home March 14, 2016
My gcc has a small ferret hammock and he loves playing in it, it is his favorite toy, but he doesn't sleep in it. He sleeps on a parakeet sized perch (really skinny) but I have seen him sleep from hanging onto the wall bars too.

Aleta has two tents. One she loves and one I can't even convince her to go near it, even if I put treats in there. I don't think either is not normal. Depends on the bird. I made a fleece covered hoop and put it in her cage, and she will sleep there instead of the tent now, but I will still come into the room and find her hanging out in her tent.

Doodle sleeps for the most part hanging upside down from the top of her house, but once in awhile hanging on the side.
I can't get her to go near her snuggle hut....raises holy heck until I get it outta her site!

My two love to snuggle up in theirs. Since this pic was taken, I have gotten the Large size. As you can see, they can barely fit in the Medium, lol.It's all up to the individual bird & their preferences...also, it takes some birds extra time to accept things we put in their cages.....
