Hello,
I have a 1 year old green cheek conure and have a weird question. I read online that when a conure backs into you its wanting to mate, but this one isnt anywhere near sexual maturity. This one is a shoulder bird and is spoiled rotten. Many times "she" will be on my shoulder and rests with her tail up turned around, so her butt is on either my face or the side of my head. Almost like she is propping herself up on my head. She also does it with other people who she is comfortable with. When she is being pet, sometimes she will turn around and back into you so she can have a rectal scratch. What does this mean????
