I brought Teeko outside for the second time earlier! He's doing well with the suit, still nibbles on it though.
Just look at him enjoying the fresh air! All the leaves are shining a vibrant green, coated with droplets from the rain last night.

Took him over to see the goats- they were ever so curious, as usual!

Looking forward to hiking with him this weekend! I just have to figure out what to say if someone asks me about him...

If any of you have pictures of your baby out and about, feel free to post them! Let's overload the forum with conure (Or other species) cuteness!

BEAUTIFUL pics and scenery :)! Thank you so much for sharing. Taking all that time getting Teeko used to his flight suit was well worth it I see!

What beautiful pictures of Teeko! :D And I LOVE his awesome harness, too!

You said it's ok to post a pic of birdies outside, yes? Even though he's not a conure, here's my Sam outside in his harness. :)

Those are some awesome photos. I'm trying to get my Sun conure into an aviator harness and it's quite a job. I have been working on it for more than a month and he's still uncomfortable having it fully around his neck. He has freaked out a couple of times but is still willing to put his head through the loop for a treat:) He just doesn't like keeping it in there. I feel like he would tolerate it just for the treat. I was wondering if anyone who uses a flight suit finds it easier for putting on smaller birds like conures. I feel like the neck part of the aviator is really tight on him.

My sun was recalled at an early age. He was exceptionally bonded to me...

In fact, the one time he flew off - on my ex-wife, he flew to a tree at the end of the block, and waited for me to come home. The minute I stepped out of my car, he flew to my shoulder, with his old familiar greeting... "Hi Papaya! How's my bird?"

My red fronted macaw and my CAG both have harnesses, but they hate them, and I don't use them. But they are a very good idea.

Love your pictures, Mark! All your birds look so healthy.
Zoe is looking quite well, too, thekarens ;)

I've never used the Aviator Harness, but I can tell you that if your bird doesn't like you tugging on his wings, you're going to have trouble with the Flightsuit. Teeko still freaks out a bit when we get to the "Put your arms through the sleeves!" point, but he's semi-pressure trained so he won't hurt me... There were a couple times during training I wished I had gone with the Aviator, but it worked out in the end. Good luck!
