So I got home and when I went to let my GCC out, well he freaked out!! Squaking and flying around, screaming, and just basically going insane! I couldn't figure it out for about a half hour. He refused to go into the living room where I was watching TV. He would step up just fine, but as soon as we got into the living room, he would wriggle out of my hands and fly away squaking!!

After about a half our I figured it out! I recently purchased this helmet pictured right below. Well I got it that day and had it sitting on the coffee table! Poor guy probably thought it was another, bigger bird!:D As soon as i covered it up he was perfectly fine! There's so much to learn with these guys!:p

Hahaha! My gcc also gets scared of random things, and go figure what's wrong. :D One day I found out he was absolutely horrified of paper towel rolls. :)

A massive and sinister blue and gold, coiled and ready to strike! Lol!

My female ekkie, Maya, used to be TERRIFIED of brooms! From the day she joined our family the very sight of a broom, even from across the room, would send her into a panic-stricken flight around the house. (And strangely enough, only brooms had this effect. Sticks or branches of similar or greater size barely even merited her attention. Weird.) Took a few months to get her past that particular phobia.

That IS a scary helmet! My two will freak out if there happens to be a balloon floating nearby. Even one tied into a flower arrangement. NO KILLER BALLOONS ALLOWED!

Very nice helmet, as long as you aren't a parrot! Our helmets are never allowed in the parrot's realm for the same reason. Those things are scary.

I was making toys with paper rope one day and Harry viciously attacked a stray piece, flew to the top of her cage with it and killed it repeatedly, makes sense, apparently it resembled a snake.
