Our tiki is like an energizer bunny! Is this normal and common at this young age (8 weeks)? He's go go go running, chewing, playing. Just doesnt like to perch still. Do they out grow all this energy or is this just going to his/her personality?

This is funny (but annoying too) his doesnt like feet, lol and will attack my, my daughters and husbands feet when he is in play mode.

He has a lot of toys. Right now he is into his Lego bowl and dropping pieces onto the floor for me to fetch.

That is Kyo in a nutshell, and I hate to break it to you but she's 5 months old. Just how they are :p sometimes I think I need to get her a playmate to keep her a bit less occupied with needing my attention every second that I'm home. I personally adore her though. ;)

Hi! My GCC, also Tiki, is (at least) 6 years old, so she is very much an adult bird. While she can be active, she is a complete snuggle bug. My girl is content to be cuddled in your hands and scritched all day long. Or just sit and snuggle on my shoulder while I read a book.

She does like to play and likes to explore places and things, but for the most part she's a snuggler.

Maybe you will see your Tiki calm down when he's a bit older. Or maybe it's all in the bird's personality! Each bird is such an individual. You have to love their different personalities :)

Oh we do love her to bits. Just fascinated that s/he is so much like a toddler who can get into so much trouble if I turn my head for one second.
