Sorry I really would like to show him off since none of my friends or family are very enthusiastic.

Mochi, so far, is a wonderful, well behaved baby who really enjoys eating and cuddles.

He's so cute. I love him so much.

Mochi is sitting here on my shoulder reading your comments and is feeling quite confident, although he is about to fall asleep.

He's definitely going to be a mischievous little boy. He got into my dried corn and ate some of it. I can't wait to have a ton of adventures with him.

Just an FYI...
Gccs especially seem to need 10 hours or more of sleep or they get really cranky...
So if he is up with you late make sure he gets uninterrupted sleep

Okay, I will. I don't want him to be cranky. Thank you He's hopefully going to sleep enough tonight. He seems to be having a hard time falling asleep tonight, maybe because it's all so new and he doesn't know where he wants to sleep. Hopefully he can settle down soon and take a nice long snooze.

Mochi is very beautiful. Congrats on bringing him home. Where in Canada are you. We are in Canada too, in Calgary. We got Tiki from a wonderful breeder who did a lot of socializing for her birds and hence Tiki was confident with us from day one. What are the chances they are from same breeder, LOL. I really love pineapples and cinnamon's and their light minty green color. Tiki is a ys because my daughter chose him. All the mutations are beautiful.... If I could only have one if each!

Thank you. I'm in BC, specifically Vancouver Island. It would have been cool if we had the same breeder though. YS are gorgeous. Their colouring is so beautiful, the red, green, and grey, with the yellow. All the different types are so wonderful, like the entire conure species are so colourful. It's nice that you let your daughter pick. Tiki is so cute and pretty.

nice bird!! i know what its like man i love birds and go crazy for them and it really sucks that i show and tell my friends and they are just like "eh...:/"

I hear you about the 'friends'. While I have people in my life who know of my love of birds, most of them just don't "get it". That's what I love about this forum.

Same, that's kinda why his name is Mochi. At the frozen yogurt place the mochi is coloured the same as him.
