GCC hears birds outside

I have a new Green cheek conure and I also live in my parents garage so I can hear almost everything outside. My house is surrounded with tall tress so many birds (I think blue jays) are always chirping (Calling) very loudly outside. My Green cheek usually hears them and calls back to them. I don't mind the noise I just don't know if it's good for the bird. I don't know if they're mating calls or something. I just wanna know if I'm worrying too much and it's totally normal or if it's something I should worry about. Thanks a lot!

I think you are worrying too much. Foo loves talking to the scrub jays here as well.

It's perfectly fine. Just don't react and let him do his thing so it doesn't turn into a behavioral thing. My sun would do the same way with some birds but totally ignores others. It's great you have wild birds chirping outside all day, it must be so nice sounding.
