Anyone have a Painted Conure?

Hi, I'm not looking to buy one. I had 2 of them, but sadly they've both passed on now. The oldest one made it to 18 years old. If anyone else on here has Painteds, how long have you had them? These little guys are so cool. Rare in captivity though.

i'm sad to hear that your babies have passed. As to painted conures, like you said they are very rare in captivity so good luck finding one. I hope you find a new fid soon good luck.

I'm not in the market to get another one. I mainly wanted to see what kind of longevity other people have gotten with their Painted Conures. They only weigh 2 ounces, but some sites says they can live 20 years or more.

Anyone have a Painted Conure?
