Hi and welcome,
You dont mention if he does it in or out of the cage which has some bearing on advice however they do love getting a bit rough sometimes but if he's not hurting himself or you then I'm sure it's fine and just letting of some steam.I wouldn't worry about the hissing as im sure you know they make dozens of sounds so again unless it's in reaction or focused aggression to some stress or a particular human then leave him be to have his fun.
My Patagonian loves zippers and can ruin a pair of jeans in about 90 secs so we now have to hide any zipped clothes shorts, trousers, jackets, bags etc etc etc so in return if you can offer me any advice on how I can stop it ill be eternally grateful ha ha ha!

Enjoy your bird.

Well she does it both in and out of the cage XD and zippers i'd say train it to know what "bad" means somehow (i dunno how) and then put a zipper out and say bad when it attacks! Sorry i dont know about teaching them "bad" :p :orange:

Bacca (Quaker)
Bacca (my quaker) loves bells. She'll ring the hell out of them when she wants attention. She now has a set of mini wind chimes on her perch.
