Hey guys!

I've been working on training Alex a lot more recently. I started with target training, which he's picked up super quickly. I can now tell him to go to a certain perch, and he does a pretty good job of staying there (I do this in the morning to feed him, he gets nippy with his breakfast).

I think my mom is getting me a bird harness for christmas, so I've started working on recall training. He will now fly to me when I'm holding a perch in my hand, I just haven't gotten him to fly onto my hand yet (whenever I tell him to come to my hand instead of the perch, even when my hand is just a step away, he looks at me like I'm nuts XD).

I just wanted to share with you all the progress we've made. Just a month or two ago he was biting me anytime I was near him. Now he's willingly flying to me. :D So proud of him!

Thanks Britbryan87! He's now flying onto my hand, so we're working on increasing the distance now.
