Hey guys im going to be buying a conure soon and the breeder is having her whole batch tested. With that being said i have the luxury of choosing a male or a female. Is there any differences i their behaviors? I also heard that if you pet their backs too much they might try and mate with you, does this apply to both males and females? thank you

Yes, ANY over-patting, stroking may result in either male or female pet birds to see this as a form of 'sexual' advances.

All in good moderation. :)

Typically in conures there's not noticeable difference between males and females but talk to your breeder about.
Breeders might find that they certain personality traits because of the parents. This isn't accurate but I think they'd be the best to ask.
