I'm really proud of this week's mash. This week as in... I actually decided to plan ahead and prep for the week so everything goes faster.
I cooked up some mung beans and quinoa for grains/legumes. I put a bit of apple cider vinegar to prevent any nasty bacteria and put it in the fridge.
For veggies this week it's red chard and carrots. I shredded enough carrot and cut up enough chard for a few days I think :]
Not only that I've also started introducing Kermit to pellets. He's taken to them surprisingly well given he's never seen them before in his life. He will chew them a bit from the dish so long as I am offering it from my hand.
With the rave out of the way, how much seed and pellets should I portion out for Kermit my GCC a day? I want limit waste of seed (which before I'd toss after 2-3 days of sitting out and stir everyday) and keep things fresher so I've decided I'd want to do daily changings. I'm guessing maybe 1 tablespoon of seed and 2 tablespoons of pellets (though initially maybe more like 2 tablespoons of seed and 1 tablespoon of pellet as I work on transitioning)
