Kermit was once a good birb. Not very much screaming at all, no sir-ee. Just sweet and cuddly and gentle love-nips for all to enjoy

Well. Today he decided would be a screaming day. I was in the midst of packing for an unexpected trip tomorrow and there was a certain level of chaos... though I certainly did take him out of the cage that day, it was not as long as he so pleased so scream scream he did. I am also being punished for coming home late on Thursday, I'm sure.

I had to go out to the store and grab him some veggies so I packed the screaming brat up and brought him with me, thinking that would quell his rage. He was quiet at the store, no screaming, and I grabbed all sorts of fun things for him to eat while I'm away. I cut our trip short since I assume he's becoming a bit overwhelmed and put him back in his cage, thinking he's had all the attention he can stand for a day.

No. Not at all. He was quiet for 30 minutes than back to screaming it was .v.; At the end of the day I finally caved and let him hang out on my shoulder. I'll have you know he's being completely sweet right now, as if never could he be naughty. Hah !:green2:

Hopefully you know the drill for something like this, and did not reinforce the bad behaviour.

Well... if you're looking to control your bird... ask for my advice and then do the opposite. Do what Mr. WRENCH SAYS!
