Moving Problems :/

Hi everyone, my green cheek conure (Georgia) and I are looking for some insight and advice into our problem. I just recently moved to a new place (on Saturday so only a few days ago) and I'm concerned about some behavior from Georgia. I understand that it's a huge change for her leaving one home with one set of people that she knows into a new home with a different set of people so I'm hoping that this is just an adjustment period. But she's been excessively vocal, much more than normal. It seems to mostly be when everyone leaves the living room (where her cage is placed) but it's almost instantaneous and if she can still hear that we are close by she doesn't stop until someone comes back.
I really don't want to encourage this behavior but I'm so worried about annoying my roommates or neighbors that I've been indulging her most of the times. She already spends a lot of time out of her cage so I'm concerned that she can't seem to be alone for even a few minutes. Again, I really hope this is just anxiety from the very recent move and fades away (she was much better yesterday than on the day of the actual move) but I'm still nervous.
Have any of you dealt with a similar situation or have any advice?
Thank you

Two green cheek conures, one sun conure, and two quakers.
I haven't moved since having my boys but I can imagine how upsetting this must be for both of you. For me, I'd have my poop shirt on & let my birds ride on my shoulders as I go about my business. That way the bird (plural in my case) would get the sense of the place plus know you're not abandoning her. I'm sure after awhile she'll realize this is home & will chill.

Try just calling her name to assure her you are nearby. Do not reappear until she is quiet though as that would be rewarding her for calling out. If it is safe to do so, perhaps play real estate agent with her and show her round your new place so she has can get used to the 'new place'.
