Help with cage choices

So I just got my new best buddy this week, a little Cinnamon Conure (pics to follow). I haven't named him/her yet but I keep calling him BooBoo for whatever reason. So that may end up as the name. He/She is so amazing I cannot put into words how much I love this little guy.

I am in need of a good cage for him. I am at work for 8 hours and he will most likely be in the cage most days until I get home. I have three family members that are home full time so he does get some attention while I am gone.

I wanted to get a cage that I could live with myself for putting him in. Everyone is different and I am not saying that people with smaller cages are cruel or birds are suffering, but for me I would feel better with as large of a cage I can afford. I see this as a super long term investment. I would rather buy once or twice in the life of the bird, then make a mistake at something I would regret or want to upgrade in a year or two.

So I have narrowed my choices to three cages. I am just not sure that a smaller cage with maybe two or three toys would be enough for his busy little brain? I am out of my mind with these cages? If you could give me any input I would appreciate it.

Forget the dome top, way to dangerous. The top is known to close on its own and have caught Parrot leg(s) in them.

Corner cages are nice, but loose a ton of interior room (space), which means you have a big cage, but less room for your Parrot.

The flat tops with a play area on top are the best space for the dollar invested.

NOTE: Target Cages that have a full height access door. This makes it much earlier to get the Parrot in and out! Plus, they make it easier on the Human to clean, change out toys, and reconfigure when you need too. Once you have a cage with a full height access door you will never choose any other style of cage.

Dowels commonly come with the cage, do not use them. Buy natural branch perches! Lots of them.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't planning on using the perch feature of the dome top. Just like the bar spacing and the size. Thanks for the advice on the door, I hadn't thought of that. Does the HQ seem to have the type of doors you are referring to? I was going to remove the center divider and make it one huge area. It also seems enormous in comparison to anything I have seen with 1/2 in bar spacing. I was planning on a separate play stand as I think trying to put one on the top of either of the larger cages would put it close to the ceiling of the house. The search continues....

Kings cages are best quality and easiest to clean. For small birds I like the Kings flight cage. Lots of room!
