I really believe that you are not ready to 'encourage' your Parrots to Breed!

The amount of support equipment you need to obtain, the knowledge of feeding (yes, the Parrots may /will likely reject their chicks and you will have to take over), develop a strong relationship with an Avian Vet, and development of that knowledge is a major undertaking!

This process is not as simple as placing two Parrots together and hoping! Are you even sure that you have a DNA proven pair?

Pull the nesting box and if this is something you want to really do, read the entire Breeder's Forum, every single Thread and responding Post!

I brought 3 very young conures home, 2 of them needed hand feeding for over a month. When I look back on it I am amazed that I didn't kill anyone. I am a nurse and have worked with patients for many years but this is like super specialized skills. Every 4-6 hours. No matter what is going on in your life. No matter what. And this is not something where you can call up a friend to fill in for a feeding as you will have dead babies and a heartbroken friend. If I had to go through this again I would have to give it a good hard think. And then there are the uncontrolled variables. My breeder (who had no business selling such young birds) got a bad batch of baby food and everyone died. Everyone. I don't know about you but I would have a freakout. I also have large animals and have needed to provide specialized services, such as manipulating a baby into a better position. Losing one that way is a heart break - but an entire clutch? I would definitely try volunteering at a rescue or breeders home and get your toes wet.

I will add to this by saying that 2 years old is too young to breed IMO. They only just went through their hormones so it's the same as 14 year old's having kids. It's normally when young that birds get issues like egg binding and stillborns
