So I bought this T shirt on a whim but hadn't worn it before.

I put it on last night after clark went to bed, when I got up I held him close and took him downstairs with me so we could both use the bathroom. As soon as the light hit us he went "WTF" and jumped up. I caught him in the air then he jumped again....I was like what are you...then I realized he saw the conure on the shirt and was like "when did we get another bird!!!!"....

I settled him down but he was still sitting on my shoulder doing the sleeked back feather, single sideways eyeball thing right at it. Took him a few minutes to realize it was just a picture...and he still didn't want to get to close, even though he goes nuts playing with a mirror.

I know it's wrong.... but the shirt paid for itself just seeing him react to it and figuring out what was going on. He did poop on my sock though....he didn't make it to the sink to poop. :04:

Sometimes a Tread does such a great job of saying it all that it leaves near nothing to add!

So, just for an opportunity for others to at least see it, I'm Bumping it back up the board for more members to enjoy!

Thanks for the humor!

Lol. He thought his worst nightmare came true- a competitor! Did he poop on your sock in retaliation for your "cruel prank"?

For the record after a few hours he didn't care about the bird on the shirt anymore...he realized it was just a picture.

And no he pooped because it was morning and normally he waits till we get to the sink but that was all interrupted.

A friend of mine got me the 'sun conure dad' tshirt for Christmas. I want to get the shirt you have (only the sun conure version) to go with it. lol.

Skittles used to chew on my shirts endlessly, but for some reason, he doesn't anymore. Not that I'm complaining.
