Has once again deemed veggies as a-okay. But, only if chopped in tiny pieces ! We'll see how long this phase lasts. In my experience, I have to constantly come up with new and inventive ways to present food or it's beneath her dignity to consume. It was satisfying to hear her making contented soft peepy sounds as she ate it today though... I'm guessing the chia seeds were a welcome treat ;) :gcc:

A crossover Quaker Scuti (F), A Sun conure named AC, A Cinnamon Green Cheek conure Kent, and 6 budgies, Scuti Jr. (f), yellow (m), clark Jr. (m), Dot (f), Zebra(f), Machine (m).
I LOVE THOSE SOUNDS!!!!!!!

Also if you want him to eat something just eat it in front of him...or try to keep him from it!

@ clark_conure: Kermit is funny. She is quick to point out when food offends her, even if we eat together. She'll either throw it or flick her beak if it sticks to her beak, then proceed to climb up my shoulder and snuggle up against me while I eat. Meanwhile the food will remain untouched...

Anyways, day 3 and Kermit licked the plate clean again ! I hope this streak continues because I know she needs it for a well rounded diet !

The good news is I think you will find him less and less picky over time, as he tries new things will eventually be "gimme some of that too!!!"
