Sadly having lost my beautiful dog earlier this month I gradually realised that Syd was no longer talking. I waited patiently, then upped the chat quite a bit while he dutifully studied me but nothing came from his beak.
I was beginning to think that he had lost the urge or ability and was beginning to reconcile myself to a non chatty bird. Then today he has started all over again. For the last hour he has been revising old words and seems to be practising all sorts of new sounds.
