Hello all,
I am interested in changing cages for my sun conure. I currently have a 6 foot tall, by 2 and half standing cage that takes up alot of space in my dining room and Lenny only uses the top 2 feet at any giving time. I want to put a bigger dining table and was thinking of getting a hanging cage by windows. Ideally I want a longer and shorter cage (3 foot longer two foot wide and 2 foot tall would be ideal) but I'm having trouble finding something suitable anywhere. has anyone found something that size that can be hung for a conure? thanks

Xander has a huge cage and only uses the very top too. I think your idea is great for space saving. Im pretty sure a cage the size you want could hang from the wall. Let me take a look and get back to you x

All the designed cages for hanging seem to be round shaped which is no good.

Your best option would be just buy a smaller wider cage you like and hang it yourself. You could use 1 or 2 tv wall brackets to hang the cage depending what size cage you get. Would look really tidy and easily support the weight and be pretty simple to do. If your not very DIY then i can advise you x

Yeah I'm not aware of any cage for birds with this dimension either...I want to hang it from the ceiling, not on wall since its near windows. I'd imagine I can manage to do so with just about any cage I get and 2 hooks and a chain. I'm wondering if I need to look at cages for guinea pigs, bunnies, etc...and customize it for my conure. I have bendable ropes and plenty of perches and toys.

I wouldnt use that cage in honesty. Theres not enough cage. If your hanging from the celing then you want to screw deep into a roof beam if you can. You dont want the cage to drop. If you do it properly you could connect 2 cages together for more width. Maybe an idea x
