Some more of Cal's feather transformation for you! Take 2 ;)

Cal has stopped crying because her Auntie Ant deleted her thread by accident so I will write it again!

I think it's been about 3 weeks since you last saw the beginnings of Cal's yellow coming through and there's even more now!

It's so wonderful yet strange to visibly see your fid growing up - every morning there's a bit more yellow or more vibrant red.....

I DID try to do this with pictures but as you can see, she just doesn't sit still!

She reminds me of a kid in an eatery that also has a ball pit - suddenly food can be munched on the move!

Here she is showing Auntie Ant how SHE swings around and also showing why conures loooooove toys. It's cold today so she has her 3 sides covered - she is snug as the proverbial bug in there - I wish I could fit in there with her!

I can watch her all day! Trouble is, so can a lot of people and she loves nothing more than people watching her!!! Sometimes I have 5 or 6 people just watching her play....bit maddening when you're trying to do paperwork!

I just found feather transformations so interesting before I had Cal and could only find one video showing it. I hope to collaberate one myself eventually because when she's got all her yellow and vibrant red through in a couple of years, these days will long be gone!

My goodness look at how yellow she's gotten!! I remember we were discussing how green she was staying, guess those days are in the past! I also hadn't realized her new ladder toy was suspended from the top of the cage, what a wonderful idea!!

What a cutie pie. You have such a nice palace for her to live in and very nice stimulating conure toys. I hope you can do more videos. Check out the Flip video camera. It takes awesome videos and so so east to get to y tube.

Thanks so much Di, I am just happy that she is so happy, little poppet! I have a video camera but I was in the shop on my own with her so I couldn't go and fetch it! I must remember to keep it nearby, really!

Even with the bad quality I can see that she looks very vibrant! She is really turning out to be one heck of a beauty! Well done Vonnie!

Aww they grow up so fast! When I look at pictures of Nicky when he was younger I am amazed at all the yellow and orange he has now!

I always look in the cat and dog section for toys for my fids. They are usually cheaper than bird toys. Like the dog rope toys can easily be turned into a rope perch or even a toy to swing from. And the balls they make for cats with the bells inside them make great foot toys. Gracie loves to throw them around! It is always fun watching our fids play. I could sit and watch them all day!
