A lot of the time "tail-bobbing" is just them breathing, if you watch them closely at any given time their tails are "bobbing", so there's a fine line between normal and something wrong...

Is she acting normally otherwise? Eating well? And it's not constant then, right, it just happened once last week and then right after the bath?

It's probably nothing, but you know how this goes with birds...Watch her closely, look for any other signs/symptoms of illness, and when in doubt, take her to the CAV. It's probably nothing, just her breathing a bit hard because she just got out of the bath (don't know what she was doing when she did it last week, but if she was at all excited or exerting herself then that's probably what it was), but you just don't really ever know unless other signs/symptoms pop-up...I myself haven't ever put much stock in the "tail-bobbing means they're sick" thing because it's such a subtle and common motion for them, but if she starts displaying any other signs/symptoms of illness or pain then I'd take her to the CAV...

she is eating ok, she is lively, though very loud and clingy the last few days...

it was last week when she sat fluffed up on my shoulder and today after the bath...

more than sickness I fear it might be a sign she has an egg in there again... and with all the surgery and whatnot just 5 weeks ago... we have a vet appointment tomorrow, she was supposed to get the implants... now I'll demand an x-ray first to be sure, to see if there really is or isn't another egg... this bird will be the death of me :52:

Yeah, I agree totally...

The whole thing with "Tail-Bobbing means they're sick" or that there is something else going on that shouldn't be, like an egg, etc. came from the fact that their tails always "bob' a little bit when they breath normally and are perfectly fine, but when they have labored-breathing, like with an upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, or with a cardia issue, etc. their tails naturally "bob" more and more and it's more noticeable the harder they breath. So if you follow that thought-pattern it means that every time they breath harder than normal they must be sick...And that's just not true. When they exert themselves, like with flying or climbing or walking or playing they are going to breath harder than normal, and the same when they get excited, like after a bath or when they're playing with you, etc. So the bottom-line is that their tails are ALWAYS bobbing a little bit if you watch them closely because they bob every time they breath, and the harder they breath the more their tails are going to bob...Certainly doesn't mean anything is wrong with them. That's why I've never looked at "Tail-Bobbing" as a very serious sign/symptom of illness or pain. The only time where I've seen significant increase in tail-bobbing and it's usually related to illness or pain is in very small birds, specifically Budgies. Because they're so small their tails 'bob" constantly with every breath, and if they are just sitting around not doing anything or exerting themselves and their tails are bobbing like crazy, something is wrong...But otherwise, like in the case of Sunny, she was just excited about the bath...

It's good you're taking her for the implants tomorrow, and yes, you definitely need to DEMAND that they do an X-Ray before putting the implants in, not because of this tail-bobbing thing, but just because she's been hormonal lately since her surgery, and it's very possible that she's got an egg forming...Or at least Follicles already formed, which are also visible on a plain X-Ray...So if she has a bunch of Follicles already formed, the implants should hopefully stop them from turning into eggs, and she should just re-absorb them. It's good timing for the X-Ray and the implants.

Does she bob her tail only after the bath? Maybe it's her way to warm up using her muscles, just like tremble with cold.

BTW, I cross my fingers for the Vet visit.. please update us after you'll get back from the Vet.
