Turquoise Green Cheek Conure (Zazu)
So my fiance and I have started thinking about getting another bird. Our current bird is a turquoise gcc DNA confirmed male. It was my fiance's idea to get the first bird and well Zazu hates him and is my little velcro bird. We want to try again and see if the next one will like my fiance, but we know each bird is their own and it may not like him either. We are debating another member of the conure family and have been looking at other gcc, black capped, maroon bellied, and crimson bellied. We have also been looking into cockatiels. We were wanting other opinions on what ya'll have with your gcc. We understand that they may never like each other and are willing to do what we need to accommodate the worst case scenario and they cannot even be let out of the cages at the same time, but we are hoping they get along well enough to be out of their cages and playing together. We have made a quarantine plan that our vet helped us put together. Any advice on the introduction to each other and anything else ya'll can think of would be greatly appreciated.

My DNA female GCC is very good friends with my DNA male quaker..
Quakers are generally louder than a GCC though. Volume isn't ear splitting or anything, but he makes noise all day long.. my other doesn't .. I think all of the choices you mention have good chances of getting along ok, just let the bird choose him and a dash of hope ;)
Intro pay lots of attention to first bird, introduce in neutral area, o did with lots of food spread out in a gruop feed situation. Don't place together on s stand ,better on a table top.
