Luna eating her lunch in the February 22C sunshine!

The above link is to Luna's page on FB with a video of her enjoying this lovely weather we are currently having here in the UK.
She is enjoying Tidymix Pulse & Rice Soaking Parrot Food
It contains Soya, Aduki, Mung, Pinto, Blackeye, Haricot Beans, Corn Chick, Green & Yellow Peas, Puy & Red Lentils, Wheat, Brown Rice.
Some things she loves and somethings she throws straight out!

This is the new food that Luna is now eating, rather than the old seed mix that she loved. She still gets a small amount of seeds every other day, in either nutriberry form or loose seeds.

She still hates her vegetables, but is loving apples, chilli's when I can get them (we have run out of the ones I grew last year. Roll on growing more this year!), pepper seeds, sometimes a tiny bit of pepper. I am going to keep trying with vegetables but this is all a step in the right direction!

This is her holiday cage she is in, not her main cage.
I can carry her in to the garden and let her enjoy the sunshine!

Sounds like a nice mix for birds...Have you ever tried any of the Higgin's "Worldly Cuisines"? If not, I highly recommend trying them out if your bird likes those kinds of foods/mixes. I think there are 8 different varieties, they come in little pouches that contain a good portion, and they are made-up of all kinds of different grains, healthy seeds, legumes, rices, beans, veggies, greens, fruit, etc. All you do is add water to the pouch and microwave the pouch for a minute or two, and then you can put it in a container and it will keep in the fridge for up to a week...They are extremely healthy, low in fat, high in protein, full of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, digestive enzymes, Prebiotics and Probiotics, etc. My guys love them all, and if I'm being honest, I've tried all of them and could eat them as a healthy snack for myself because they are really, really good! I used to buy a pouch once a week at Petco for like $4 I think, but they only had 2 varieties in my local store, so I started ordering them on Amazon and Chewy, and you can actually buy cases of them very cheaply and pick the varieties you want once you figure out which ones your bird likes...Worth checking out for sure...
