So today (Sunday) was Easter and I made a ham. I actually made two cause they were small ones cause I have some dishes I plan on making.

Anyways, I spent most of the afternoon cooking and while I was cooking on the stove, Skitty was sitting atop the stove hood 'watching me' cook. It was cute and creepy at the same time. I normally wouldn't let him sit there (like if I was frying.) But I was boiling sweet potatoes and he wasn't in danger.

Around Skitty's bedtime I went to put him to bed and like he usually does when he's tired and I approach his sleep cage, he 'dart-flied' right inside. So after the whole routine, I covered him up and finished cooking my ham. About half hour later, I called my neighbor to come over and get some dinner and she did. Skitty was at the other end of the apartment and yet still heard us whispering. He started screeching over and over and over. She wasn't here very long and after she left I went into the bedroom and told Skitty 'it was okay', but he was still going off. So I uncovered the cage and he was right by the cage door, feathers all puffed up in 'alarm'. I opened the door, expecting him to fly out and take off but he didn't. He just flew onto my hand and we walked out of the bedroom. He stayed on my hand the whole time. I walked ALL around the apartment to 'show him' no one was here. As soon as we finished, I kid you not, he shut right up. It was hilarious. I brought him back into the bedroom and he went back to sleep.
