Sun Conure
So my sun conure (3 years old this summer) has been on roudybush pellets for 2 years now. She likes them, eats them every day in varying amounts depending on how much chop and other stuff she gets. I was at a pet store a while back and they had zumpreme fruit pellets in bulk, so I bought a small amount of them for mango to try. Well she loved them. They turn her poos funny colors, she always ate her favorite colors first. She still ate the roudybush pellets as well, but now seems to miss the variety of the fruity pellets since they are gone, although she has kept eating the roudybush. Should I buy a bag and let her keep eating both varieties? Is one type healthier for her than the other?

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Zupreem Fruit Blend is a popular pellet, in part because of color, fairly high corn and sugar content. Parrots will typically enjoy even as they disregard other varieties.

Colors are via artificial and natural additives, some of which are directly excreted, hence colored poo.

I have not used Roudybush, but many prefer that and other varieties in lieu of Zupreem.
