And then she woke up....

Her beak was growing a bit of an underbite, it took me a while to get in so I actually did some trimming myself with mini electrical cutters. She actually sat quietly for it like she new I was helping and she was fine till I was able to get her in.

Zod had her nails done, Clark had the beak trim, some flight feathers cut back a bit because it's hard to do anything other than a block cut by myself....also a pedicure.

Amazing she sat quietly and let me do dental work on her beak so it would sit straight but I have to fight her her for a wing trim.

anyways...

go see your vet.....they do good....

Parrots with enough stuff to chew shouldn't need beak trimms unless there is a physiological reason for it. I used to think they needed it too, untilmy new vet educated me on this. Plue, beak tips have a lot of nerve endings in them so trimming is like having teeth ground down by a dentist. Yeowch. Does Clark have plenty of wood chew toys?

she as tons of toys, but she prefers to "punch" things rather than bite when I watch her play.
