It's been several months now and Remi and Petey are getting better and better with each other. There is no fighting but peaceful coexisting.
They are by no means close friends, but I have noticed that they take baths at the same time, they eat at the same time, and they follow each other when flying around the house and flock calling.
It definitely is a relief.
They sit on my legs/shoulders within a close distance from each other, and if Remi gets a little too close, Petey just flies off. So, things are pretty good I think.
I enjoy having them both even though the mess they make is atrocious, lol!!
I think they appreciate each other's company when we all go to work/school as well.

That’s fabulous, I’m glad you held out and kept working through it. I wish a couple of mine would get to the point where they could consider each other “flock” :).

I second Laura’s request for pics!
