My conure Apple, just died after taking a shower with me. I have had him for 3 months. We've taken showers together before a couple times. Today after shower I dried him roughly with a towel and let him dry out in the cage naturally as always. He started looking weird and breathed heavily. Gradually he couldn't stand anymore and laid down on the bottom of the cage. He then flapped around and threw up some yellow liquid and his heart stopped forever.
It hurts so bad he was such a sweetheart. I haven't cried for the past so many years but this time I just couldn't help and cried like a baby. I don't know what I did wrong. I just don't know.
