It's 8:45 I did not get Ta-dah out for Mommy and me time at 8:30. Guess who just flew to me? Ta-dah! Earns her name every day!!! How the heck did she get out of the cage!!!! This is the third cage I've had her in , as I'm searching for her new forever cage and borrowed this one! I have everything zip tied shut , except the main door....
There is never a way I can see how she does it! She only escapes if I miss Mommy and me time at 8:30!
You gotta love Ta-dah!

Clearly, there is no way she is going to allow anything or anyone to get in her way of mom and her time!!!

True determination there!

She picked this time for snuggles! You right hell or high water Ta-dah will be there! I have no idea why this time is so important to her, or how she tells time! And her escsoes are epic its like she can telaport!! Three different style cages she has escaped from, with no evidence of how! And she only escapes for Mommy and me time, never at any other time...
Parrots are so amazing!

Side note my friend...

With three different cages and no clear method of how... I would be concern regarding her hurting herself in future attempts.

I would consider assure that she has a safe way out for this special meeting time.

There comes a point in which we allow their determined affection...

I do worry, a few months back she cut her toe in escape. Maybe you are right and I should leave an exit open. The bars in he current cage are. Set close together, no way she can squeeze out, it's baffling how she does it! The first cage I thought she squezzed out between bars, so I changed, and she kept gett out at her night time, so I borrowed a new one..

It was I ky after the passing of her freind Burt that this started, the 830 snuggle time. Maybe they had their own rituals, and she missed it?

I think you are really on to something regarding the ritual of 8:30, my friend...

I would avoid placing a camera, some things are better left 'unknown'... :D
