When I first got him, he was pooping on his own inside his cage. After 2 months of having him now, he doesn't poo inside of his cage at all. No matter how long he's in there. He seems to be holding it in until we take him out of the cage.

He's usually outside of his cage most of the time, so I'm assuming he has gotten used to pooping outside.:gcc:

haha My not-fully-flighted Sunnie does her best to save her big morning poo until she's out & on my shoulder. She actually prefers to do her business from a hanging perch in the bathroom, onto my bathroom floor, but if I am not quick enough getting there she is happy to decorate my shirt instead.

I'm pretty sure her goal is to keep her cage as clean as possible....

Our GCC River holds it every morning until he is allowed out to his chair at the dining room table. And then drops the biggest turd I have ever seen a little bird do. My sun conure when I was a teenager would sleep all night in his tent, in the morning let out a scream, as he backed out of the tent and let one go. I don’t do tents anymore as I know they cause hormone and behavioral issues.
