Green Cheek Conure (Name: Climber, he climbs everything :3)
Blue Cinnamon Conure (he looks like a kiwi, so his name is Kiwi :3)
Painted Conure (Name: Rainbow! :3)
I have a baby unweaned blue Cinnamon conure and a 8 month old Green Cheek Conure.
Both these parrots seem eager to meet each other. However, I'm not sure if the larger one is being kind to the GCC or being mean.
For the first few minutes, they seem to be okay with each other and the large one starts to help him do his feathers.
Then, my GCC starts to put his leg on top of the younger one, like as if he was treating the bird as a perch to stand on.
The GCC also goes on to try and either remove debris from the bird's nose (which looked like so) but he looked like as if he is biting the inside of the younger one's nose.
I know birds predict their friends and enemies based on instincts and each other behaviours.
Does my GCC have no idea what he is interacting with despite being next to the young one in separate cages for almost a month now?
